After School Special

Loving this skirt. It's adorable. The pattern of the cascading ruffles is oh so pretty. I really like how she paired this skirt with an olive green sweater, such a rich color. Nice rolled up sleeves and an adorable in right in the center of the bust. The belt brings the eye right to her tiny waist. The tights and boots bring everything together. The brown handbag is the perfect style and stylish as well. Love the black choker and the big hair!

A recent trend that I'm really feeling now is pale tones. Beautiful. They really are romantic and angelic. This gorgeous pale pink dress reminds me of a young ballerina. The bottom is flowy and fun. The rose accented waist is pretty and detail oriented. Love this paired with the cardigan and necklace, it simplifies it and pulls everything in together. Great choice of shoes as well, and a radiant smile always tops off a great look.

Head to toe chic. The jeans have a great deep wash and are clean cut and sleek. The top just draws the eye right to the bust and neckline which makes you look at her gorgeous face. The grey cardigan is a great classic piece for layering. The bronze tone bag contrasts well and ties the earrings in. And the flip flops give a touch of summer, which enables her to gradually transition into fall.

This outfit is fun, upbeat, and darling. This dress is ultra cute and simple. It hugs her curves ever so perfectly. It gives her that beautiful silhouette that every woman wants. The sweet heart neckline goes great with the black puff shoulder blouse. The buckled flats contrast with this dress well. loving the lovely curls bouncing on her shoulders. Wonderful look.

Floral is such a big trend. But as we transition into the fall and winter we'll see these prints, but toned down. This is a great way to dull down a floral to make it more fall like. Adding a cardigan definitely keeps it bright but gives it that pullback so you don't see it as a summer look. Such a pretty dress, and I love the peach tone purse.
This chick has mad style. It's sick. Every time I run into her I'm like where did you get that? Firstly I'm in love with her big hair. The way she teases it is eighties-esque with a modern spin. Her use of little makeup makes her even prettier, it shows off her natural features. This dress is lovely with it's sweet heart neckline and ruffled tool bottom. It adds a little needed volume to emphasize the hip and bum. The tights pull the dress with these cute boots together well. Great choice of jewelry as well, the gold necklace is pretty and simple.

This girl has such a giggly and giddy personality. And this kinda shows it off. She wore a simple grey tee with this darling black skirt. I really enjoyed this look so much because this skirt has a wonderful amount of volume and detail. It has a thin sheer mesh overlay and it's very pretty. On top of that, this skirt fits her perfectly. It pulls in right at the waist, and poofs out at the hip.

This outfit is perfectly cute and casual. I appreciate this because it's way simplistic and chic. She chose to rock this super cute striped babydoll tank with a pair of dark washed skinny jeans. These Uggs look great with the jeans tucked in. This makes the outfit very relaxed and gives off that laid back vibe. And to top it off she threw on a silver headband with a pretty bow.

Gotta Get Em'

Lace.

Lace is a huge trend this season. There are many ways to wear it, it can be elegant, chic and provocative. You can pair it with anything, a structured jacket, a pencil skirt, even jeans. I like the look of the fitted long sleeve lace tees. However you choose to wear it, WEAR IT! It's a great trend to take up on.

The Pencil Dress

The pencil dress is 100% unadulterated chic. It has a modern take on an older silhouette. This one provides coverage and is meant to hug the hips like a glove, though it's a little loose on the model. You can pair a nice little number like this with a blazer, platform pump, and detailed clutch. It also can be worn as a pencil skirt if you wear a blouse over it up top, or even a simple sleeveless shirt if you wear it with a high waisted bottom. With the pencil dress you can be as creative or non-creative as you'd like.

Paperbag Waist
Pant
I think pants like this are fantastic. The detailing of the paperbag waist just draws the eye to the smallest part of the woman's body while emphasizing the hips. It can easily tie a look together. They're best worn with full or low volume blouses, tucked in, or cropped tops. They're a great piece to have in your closet because you can do so much with it. Try rolling them up to create a cropped pant, or throwing on a silky blazer for work. One thing is certain, this trend beats the average dress pant.

Quilted Purses.

Quilted purses are super cute. The quilted detail is exquisite and bold. When you first notice it you have to do a double take, and then stare. It's definatley an older look. I really like the look of the vintage Chanel quilted bags, but they are way overpriced. I don't feel obligated to go designer when getting a quilted handbag. Other brands look just as good, some even better, this one in particular goes to show that you can get beautiful bags at affordable prices.

Ultra Feminine

Feminine Blouses like these are great for softening up looks and giving a light, airy womanly touch. If you have bold shoulders or a masculine frame that you want to down play, throw on one of these. Blouses as soft as this one scream, "I'm a delicate flower!" and sometimes that's the vibe you want to give off. When buying feminine pieces go for light, water colors because they usually look better with this style.

Culturally Inspired

How bold? This sweater is absolutely adorable. Being part Cherokee I gravitated towards this sweater. Pieces that are inspired by cultures other than your own are fun to work with. Don't ever feel restricted when it comes to this, it's an homage. Wear pieces that tell a story or give an outlook into someones background. When doing so you are sure to inspire.
